Were you vomiting and trying to start a fight? That seems to be the modus operandi of Brits in mainland Europe ;)
I've got blue eyes, too, but I'm not recognised as being British when I'm abroad :o/
For a while Germans would think I was German and bustle up to me and start yammering away in German. But this only ever happened in France.

Mainly everybody seems to think I have British accent and presume I've at least lived in UK, which personally I find odd. Too many nights at Sparkle and WoC?
